If you follow business news, you will know that we just issued a joint announcement with Google Cloud and Anthropic [one of the largest and fastest-growing AI companies in the world] to collaborate on introducing AI into African companies and organisations. This is great news for businesses across the continent and for entrepreneurs like you here.

Gone are the days when Africa had to wait like a poor cousin to provide cutting-edge value and opportunities from revolutionary technology innovations. #TheFutureIsNow!

In a recent post, I told you about our journey from a purely telecommunications company to becoming Africa’s leading technology company through a business technique I taught you called #Pivoting… kind of standing on one platform of capability and leaning into something adjacent, that depends on the same skills but to do something different, to better #ServeOurCustomers and #CreateValue.

Anyway, as I explained to you then, some 7 years ago we created a company called Liquid Cloud and Cybersecurity [or “Liquid C2” for short], and as part of Cassava Technologies’ guiding vision to ensure NO African is left behind in this technology revolution, it began to develop deep partnerships with global tech companies wishing to partner in Africa.

I also told you that we used Liquid C2Africa to “incubate” our AI activities because we realized that it gave us the best opportunity to lead in this new industry that is set to shake the world.

I can already hear some fearful guys [not on this platform!]: “This is for the big guys; I’m too small.” If you ever said that in the hearing of my mother, you would get a sharp rebuke in our mother tongue which translates to “Don’t fear from a distance!”

Really, AI is already here and has been for a long time. This platform we are using, Facebook, and others like TikTok are already being infused with AI capabilities to make them smarter, quicker, and sadly, even more addictive for some.

It is also here for you to use in your business. We already sell solutions like Microsoft CoPilot as part of the Microsoft 365 page which many small and medium-sized businesses use across Africa. To that shopping basket we have now also added the option of Google Workspace and Gemini.

We are also working flat out to take these core applications to develop our own bespoke solutions to serve our customers. We are listening to what we hear our customers want, and working to serve!

To do that, we have access to Africa and the world’s smartest AI minds to take a look at any challenge a business might have in its #Processes, and come up with solutions that dramatically #SaveCosts or push up the ability to generate more revenue.

This is why we have developed partnerships with companies like Anthropic and Google Cloud.
